Paulownia wood is widely used in traditional Japanese furniture such as tansu (chests), geta (wooden sandals), musical instruments like koto and biwa, boxes, and even charcoal. Its excellent insulation and moisture-regulating properties, along with natural resistance to decay and insects, have made it highly valued for centuries.
Straight Grain (Masame)
When the heartwood of the tree is cut, the surface reveals a straight-grain pattern with few knots. Straight-grain wood is commonly used in simple interiors and Japanese-style rooms with light wood finishes. Historically, it was also used for items such as sushi tubs.

A: If you wish to change the delivery date after placing your order, please contact Yamato Transport directly after your order has been shipped. You will need the tracking number provided in the shipping confirmation email, so please have it ready.
